## 1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember preferences, maintain sessions, and analyse usage. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and IndexedDB.

## 2. Cookies we use

### Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They include authentication session cookies and CSRF protection tokens. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

### Analytics cookies

Google Analytics sends cookieless measurement signals even when optional cookies are rejected. If you accept Analytics, it may also use cookies to connect visits and interactions. Cookieless does not mean that no information is sent to Google.

### Marketing / advertising cookies

With marketing consent, Google Ads may use advertising storage, conversion measurement and personalization. Instantly/Leadsy may also use cookies and similar technologies on public marketing pages to identify business visitors for sales and marketing outreach, using its RB2B integration. Visit and device information may be combined with third-party data. Instantly states that identification is limited to visitors located in the United States.

## 3. Cookies set during scans

When you use the scanning feature, our server-side scanner loads target websites in an isolated Chromium browser instance. Any cookies set by the scanned website are captured and analysed in that isolated environment. These cookies are **never** set on your browser or device — they only exist in the scan report data.

## 4. Third-party services

The following third-party services may set cookies when you interact with them:

- **Google** — Analytics and advertising measurement, subject to the choices described above.
- **Instantly/Leadsy (RB2B integration)** — optional visitor identification. See our [Privacy Policy](<https://cookierisk.eu/privacy>) for the purpose and information involved.
- **Mollie** — Payment processing. Mollie may set cookies during the checkout flow. See [Mollie’s Cookie Policy](<https://www.mollie.com/privacy>).

## 5. Managing cookies

Use Cookie settings to accept, refuse or withdraw optional categories. Your choice is saved in cookierisk\_consent for 180 days. Withdrawing a category reloads the page to stop its running tags. It does not automatically erase data already received by providers. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using authenticated features. Most browsers allow you to:

- View all cookies stored by a website
- Delete cookies for specific sites or all sites
- Block cookies from specific domains
- Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set

## 6. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if we change which cookies we use. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification.
